Hey! I am finally getting around to blogging Rachel & Karls Coldra Court wedding in Newport tonight. I have known Rachel for years, having been friends in school and then working together as teaching assistants together years later! Karl and Rachel planned an incredibly sweet and relaxed wedding day that reflected them as a couple, and their family. Tables were named after their favourite bands (I secretly wanted to be on the placebo table, I love placebo!). I asked Karl to throw the wedding rings in the air before the ceremony, as I had this cool idea to capture the rings in mid air. Karl told me that he had already lost the rings once that day! Check the shot out below, its one of my favourite detail shots i’ve taken. Hope you enjoy! Please check out more of my images in the gallery!
Today I am blogging Emma & Gareth’s welsh wedding at Tredegar Park Golf club. First of all, Emma & Gareth are so lush its silly. They are such lovely people who genuinely love each other so much. This was the wettest wedding I have ever photographed and did present a few challenges as the rain did not hold off until the late evening. However, living in Wales we are used to a little bit of rain. I’m a professional, I can deal with a bit of water, right? Hair and make up was done by the always lovely Jenna McDonnell (her new shop is Newport is amazing and will have some of work in the wedding showroom!) Emma & Gareth (along with Sophie & Matt – my first ever bride & groom) made so many pom-poms to decorate the room and it looked beautiful. Please scroll through and enjoy! You can also check out Emma & Gareths Pre Wedding shoot and more of my work in the Gallery!
Hey! As always, if you are reading this, then thank you for checking out what I do as a Penarth wedding photographer and today I have posted photos from Jenna & Tom’s Penarth pre wedding photoshoot. I am so excited to photograph their wedding in November. We met in the early evening at Penarth beach, took a stroll along the sea front and pier, catching up and taking some photos! The guys told me they had one of their first dates at Penarth, so it was really nice to be able to do this shoot there. They are really lovely people! Tom also runs Not Broken, an awesome company specialising in enhancements and adaptations for bike riding, a really positive movement, check it out if you can! Pre wedding shoots are available with all of my wedding packages, however you don’t have to be getting married to have one. Visit the contact page and send me a message for more information for a Penarth wedding photographer.

Hello there! If your reading this, well thank you very much! Today, I am posting some images from a pre wedding shoot I did for Emma & Gareth at Belle Vue Park, before their Newport wedding in Tredegar Park golf club. So, I met Emma at the first wedding I ever photographed, where Emma was a bridesmaid (Check out the Gallery to see some of those images). I’m really excited to photograph their big day and I know its going to be a lot of fun! Also, Belle Vue park is favourite place to have a pre wedding shoot, especially before a Newport wedding. There is so many interesting parts to the park and Parc Pantry has the best cakes & hot chocolates (my pre wedding shoots may be arranged around places that have the best cakes & hot chocolates). Pre wedding shoots are such a good way to get used to having your photograph taken before the wedding. I offer these shoots free with all packages and really recommend doing it! its a great way to get to know me, and for me to get to know you and hopefully feel a little more comfortable! I really try not to ‘pose’ or ‘stage’ photos to much, trying to capture those natural moments and the general fun that we have during these shoots! Hope you like it!
Hello there! Today I am posting some photos from Rachel & Karls pre wedding shoot at Tredegar House. I am photographing their wedding next month, its come around very quick, so was a lot of fun to catch up and take a few photos! We were pretty lucky with the weather, it was freezing but lovely and sunny. I also love pre wedding shoots because not only do i get to eat cake in the cafe and get to know the couple a bit better, but I also get to try out some different ideas and hopefully you can see that in these photos!
Anyway, have a good one!
Hello everyone! Merry Christmas! Today I have blogged one of my favourite weddings of 2017, Mike & Tiff’s Welsh valleys DIY farm wedding. As soon as I met Mike & Tiff, we got on and it was like I had known them forever, they are both lush! This wedding was so much fun, from the dogs walking down the aisle with the rings too the chinese food cooked by the dude who ran the restaurant in the village where they had their first date (aww!). The best mans speech was as it should be, brutal! The weather was pretty awful, and I spoke to Mike the day before as he was pumping the water out of the marquee as it had flooded! However this did not dampen the day at all, if anything, it gave us an awesome rainbow! As always, check out the Gallery for more wedding images!
