New House Country Hotel Wedding - Liv & James

Liv & James’ Fun-Filled Summer Wedding at New House Country Hotel, Cardiff

There’s something truly special about a New House Country Hotel Cardiff wedding — the stunning views, the relaxed country charm, and that beautiful summer light that makes every photo glow. Liv & James’ big day at this gorgeous Cardiff wedding venue was the perfect example of how magical it can be.

From the moment I arrived, the excitement was contagious. Liv and her bridal party got ready in one of the elegant suites, full of laughter (and a few happy tears). James and the groomsmen were just as relaxed, enjoying the sunshine and a few pre-ceremony jokes before the day officially began.

The ceremony took place in the hotel’s beautiful grounds, surrounded by family, friends, and — of course — their adorable dog, who completely stole the show! Having their pup there made the day feel even more personal and full of warmth.

After the vows, guests enjoyed drinks and canapés overlooking the stunning Cardiff skyline — one of the reasons so many couples fall in love with New House Country Hotel. The setting is perfect for relaxed, natural wedding photography, and Liv & James were an absolute dream to photograph as they laughed their way through the afternoon together.

The Party starts!

As the sun began to set, the celebrations moved indoors for an evening full of heartfelt speeches, great food, and non-stop dancing. The dance floor was packed from the first song, with everyone joining in to celebrate this amazing couple.

I absolutely loved photographing this New House Country Hotel Cardiff wedding — it was full of fun, love, and genuine moments that showed exactly why this venue is such a favourite for couples getting married in South Wales.

Liv & James, thank you so much for letting me be part of your beautiful day. I wish you (and your lovely dog!) a lifetime of happiness together.

Insole Court Cardiff Wedding - Nye & Verity

A Relaxed Outdoor Wedding at Insole Court, Cardiff | Nye & Verity

There’s something truly special about photographing a wedding at Insole Court in Cardiff. This historic mansion, with its beautiful gardens and relaxed atmosphere, was the perfect setting for Nye and Verity’s laid-back outdoor celebration. Their day was all about family, friends, and the things they love most — a genuine reflection of who they are as a couple.

A Perfect Day at Insole Court

The morning started in the elegant rooms of Insole Court, where the excitement quietly built as Verity got ready surrounded by her closest family around the corner from the venue. The light streaming through the tall windows created the perfect backdrop for those natural, candid moments I love to capture. Meanwhile, outside, guests were arriving and the gardens were alive with laughter and anticipation.

Their outdoor ceremony took place on the lawn, framed by the house’s Victorian architecture and the soft rustle of the trees. It was relaxed, heartfelt, and full of joy — exactly how a summer wedding at Insole Court should feel. Nye and Verity’s vows were personal and moving, and the smiles that followed said it all.

Relaxed, Family-Focused Celebration

After the ceremony, everyone gathered on the grass for drinks and canapés. Kids ran across the lawns, family groups mingled, and there was an easy sense of connection throughout the day. The couple had thoughtfully designed their wedding to reflect their shared interests — from the music playlist to the handmade decorations, every detail felt personal and meaningful.

As the afternoon turned to evening, the celebration continued with good food, great company, and plenty of laughter. Insole Court’s grounds gave us so many beautiful photo opportunities — from romantic portraits among the trees to fun, spontaneous group shots on the steps of the house.

Why I Love Photographing Weddings at Insole Court

As a Cardiff wedding photographer, Insole Court is one of my favourite venues to work at. Its combination of history, greenery, and relaxed charm makes it ideal for couples who want something elegant yet unfussy. The gardens are stunning in every season, and the variety of spaces means no two weddings ever feel the same.

Nye and Verity’s day was a perfect example of how to make the most of this incredible venue — focusing on connection, love, and personality rather than formality. It was a joy to capture their story.

Julie & Mike - Lysaught Institute Newport Wedding

Hi there! Thanks for making your way to this page! Today i’m posting some of my photos from Julie & Mike’s wedding.

On the 12th of September, I had the absolute pleasure of celebrating the wedding of Julie and Mike at the wonderful Lysaght Institute in Newport. It was one of those days that just felt easy, joyful, and full of love — the kind of wedding that perfectly reflects the couple at the heart of it. Also shout out to the Moylan sisters - Flaunt who are always lush to work with.

From the moment we arrived, there was such a calm, happy atmosphere. Julie and Mike are both incredibly down-to-earth, and their day mirrored that beautifully — relaxed, genuine, and filled with laughter. The Lysaght Institute was the perfect setting, offering a lovely blend of elegance and comfort, with plenty of space for guests to mingle and enjoy themselves.

Julie looked beautiful in her dress, and Mike couldn’t stop smiling from the moment he saw her. Their ceremony was heartfelt — you could feel the warmth in the room as they exchanged vows surrounded by family and friends.

Afterwards, everyone enjoyed drinks, chatting, and laughter. The details throughout the day were personal and thoughtful — from the décor to the music, everything had that lovely handmade touch that made it feel truly “them.” We dodged the rain just in time after confetti & the group shot!

As the evening rolled in, the dance floor came alive! Guests of all ages joined in, and the room was filled with energy, music, and plenty of happy faces. It really was one of those weddings where you could tell everyone was having the best time.

Julie and Mike’s wedding was a wonderful reminder that the best days are often the most relaxed ones — where love, laughter, and good company take centre stage.

Congratulations once again to this amazing couple — here’s to a lifetime of happiness together!

Pencoed House Wedding Photography - Kim & Gareth's winter wedding!

pencoed house wedding

Hello, if your looking for Pencoed House wedding photography then please take a look below. Here is a selection of highlights from Kim & Gareth's November wedding at Pencoed House. Pencoed House is located on the outskirts of Cardiff and has a variety of beautiful buildings and grounds. This was my first time working at this venue and I was blown away! Not only despite the fact that its not actually in Pencoed - you would assume, but how beautiful it is. Kim & Gareth were wonderful. I was lucky to have worked with Kim in a previous job and having already known each other made the day all that little bit easier. The whole day was a great example of a relaxed, candid wedding day. Full of joy and laughter throughout and was a pleasure to photograph.

Rosedew Farm wedding photographer - Chelsea & Mike

Hello. If you are looking for a Rosedew farm wedding photographer then this is the page for you. Today I am sharing a small selection of photos from an amazing wedding at Rosedew Farm for Chelsea & Mike. Rosedew Farm is located on the welsh coast and was the perfect location for this beautiful day. If my memory is correct, this was 'freedom day'. The first wedding to take place with absolutely no covid restrictions, live music and no masks. I remember feeling quite emotional actually and loved being a part of this day. This was my first time at Rosedew Farm and I absolutely loved it. The combination of the amazing barn, alongside the wild flower fields and the coast made the day a dream to photograph.

The big day

Chelsea & Mike are from Wales but live in Dubai. With plans changing not long before the bid day, we had to go ahead for the wedding as planned with no restrictions. Chelsea and Mike wanted a festival vibe on the coast and was an absolute dream to photograph. It really does mean the world to be when people welcome me into the day and I thank Chelsea and Mike for being so lovely and awesome.
