Hey there! Today on the blog is Nat & Marians beautiful wedding at Polhawn Fort in Cornwall.
The wedding day!
Polhawn Fort is quite a unique wedding venue, in that the whole place is yours! Its right on the coast with its own beach and the girls did their wedding their way. An outdoor ceremony, Cornish pasties and cream teas for lunch and a wicked party! The girls wanted a relaxed wedding with family and friends with a DIY feel. The weather was on our side and this allowed a beautiful ceremony within the grounds, overlooking the Cornish coast.
In the evening, I took a stroll down to the beach with the girls to watch the sun go down and take some photos. I was really pleased with how they came out and you check them out below.
If you are getting married at Polhawn Fort and fancy getting some photos on the beach, my only advice would be to try and do this before yourself and the your guests have had a few drinks! Although I must say, it was a lot easier to get down to the beach than it was getting back up. I can’t wait to come back to the Fort in 2020 for another awesome wedding. Hopefully the weather will be on my side again for that one.
